Columbus, GA- On August 31, 2020, The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a waiver to extend the Seamless Summer Option. This qualifies all children, ages 0-18, for free meals. The Muscogee County School District will observe the USDA waiver September 14-December 31, 2020, or until federal funding is no longer available.
Breakfast and lunch meals will be available for pickup for all children, whether observing virtual or in-person instruction, each Monday through Friday, 10:30-11:15 a.m., at all District school sites. Students continuing virtual instruction will continue to pick up meals in this manner.
